1. Limitations of the FREE Demo version
You can download, install and run any Dehancer product for free.
The plugin is fully functional, including all tools, all profiles and future updates.
When the plugin is not activated:
- The watermark is applied to the preview and to the rendered footage
- The Lut Generator is disabled
To remove the watermark and to enable the Lut Generator tool, please activate the plugin. Notice that Lut Generator requires the FULL Dehancer Pro license or the Video & Photo Subscription and is not working with Trial License or Dehancer Lite.
2. How to buy the License?
- Open the page.
- Make sure your computer meets the .
- Select the type (validity period) of the license.
- Click the "Buy license" button.
- At this step you will be prompted to log in or register if you haven't yet.
- Specify the required number of licenses, enter the promotional code (if you have one) and click the "Apply" button.
- Read the "Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" and activate the checkbox for consent.
- Choose a payment method convenient for you and follow the prompts of the payment service to complete the payment.
- After your payment is accepted, you will receive an email with Activation Keys (one for each seat). Also, you will find the new License appeared in the License Management section of User Profile.
3. How to activate the plugin? [OFX/Ae/Pr/FCP]
1. Buy the Subscription or Lifetime plan on our website. Go to , select the host, the plugin and hit the Pricing button. Choose your plan and proceed to the payment.
Subscription plans for individuals include 3 independent seats that can be activated and deactivated within 3 different host applications.
Studio Subscription plan contains custom number of seats that are managed in the User Profile. Each seat can be activated on 1 workstation / device.
Lifetime plan contains 2 independent seats that can be activated and deactivated on 2 different devices.
Attention! Subscription activation requires an updated product and may not work with legacy versions. Please follow the Dehancer Updates section of this manual to update your product.
2. Navigate to the bottom of Dehancer plugin interface in the After Effects or the Premiere Pro application, find the Options section and click the License info button.
3. The License widget will open. There are two main options available:
• Login and select License (for Subscriptions and Lifetime plans)
• Enter License Key (for Lifetime plans)

1. Login with your Dehancer account.
2. You will be presented with a list of Licenses available for your product. Select a Seat from the list, then press Activate plugin:

1. Paste your registration e-mail and Activation Key from the letter you’ve received after purchasing the License. Press Activate plugin.
2. After the Activation is complete, close the widget and restart DaVinci.
If you activate the Trial version:
- Open the plugin interface in your application.
- Click the "License Info" button at the bottom of the plugin interface.
- In the activation window, select the "Enter License Key" tab.
- Enter your email address used for registration.
- Copy your activation key for the trial version and click "Activate".
4. How to activate the plugin? [Ps/Lr/C1/APh]
1. Buy the Subscription or Lifetime plan on our website. Go to , select the host, the plugin and hit the Pricing button. Choose your plan and proceed to the payment.
Subscription plans for individuals include 3 independent seats that can be activated and deactivated within 3 different host applications. Notice that Photoshop and Affinity Photo are sharing the same seat activation just like Lightroom and Capture One.

The notification will be sent to your email and displayed in your User Profile as well.
2. Open plugin Settings (the gear icon) to launch the Activation widget and hit the Activate Dehancer button.
3. There are two main options available:
• Login and select License (for Subscriptions and Lifetime plans)
• Enter License Key (for Lifetime plans)

1. Login with your Dehancer account.
2. You will be presented with a list of Licenses available for your product. Select a Seat from the list, then press Activate plugin:

- Internet connection is needed for Activation.
- Activation via Login doesn’t work with Beta Licenses
** Please don’t forget to Deactivate from within the plugin interface BEFORE migrating your computer or reinstalling the System.
5. Deactivation
Please do not forget that before removing the plugin, reinstalling the system or changing the computer, you need to Deactivate the key through the Dehancer interface of the version with which you activated the key (License Info button). Using this method, you can make an unlimited number of Deactivations.
6. License compatibility
- Each product has its own License. For example, Dehancer Grain plugin can be activated only with the proprietary Activation Key. The Key for Dehancer Pro will not work (although the Grain tool is included in Dehancer Pro).
- Each License includes two Activation Keys for two seats (workstations) that can be activated and deactivated independently.
- License compatibility between different OS. Each Activation Key can be used independently on any operating system for which this Dehancer product exists.
- License compatibility between different host applications. Each Key is suitable only for the certain host application. For example, if you already own a Dehancer plugin for DaVinci, you can’t use this License for Final Cut Pro Dehancer plugin activation.
Attention!
Dehancer Photo plugin for Ps / LrC / C1 includes two separate installations – for Adobe Photoshop and for LrC / C1. Both installations share the same Activation Key.
7. License upgrade
You can upgrade any valid Lifetime License to a more expensive one, whenever you like. You only pay the difference between the price of your License and the price of the License you are upgrading to, based on prices at the date of the upgrade.
To upgrade your Dehancer product:
- Deactivate your current License Key inside the plugin.
- Login to and go to License Management section of User Profile, find the License you wish to upgrade, then click ‘Upgrade License’ button.
- In the checkout page, select the product you intend to upgrade to. Here you can apply a promo code if you have one.
- Proceed to payment as usual.
- After the payment is accepted, you’ll get the e-mail with your new Activation Key, and the new License will appear in your User Profile. Old License will be revoked.
- Download and install your new plugin from section.
- Activate the plugin as usual with your new Activation Key.
8. Transferring license to another account
If you need to transfer a License you own to another user account, follow these steps:
- Log in to and go to User profile, License Management section.
- Find the right License and click Transfer License button.
- Enter the target account email, click Continue, review all the details and hit Transfer.
- Selected License will be deactivated and revoked from your account. New Activation Key will be issued and sent to the target account email.
- When the operation is complete, you will see a confirmation message.
Please note:
- You completely hand over control of the License to another account. All your seats will be deactivated.
- Any aspects of buying and selling licenses on the aftermarket are beyond Dehancer’s responsibility.
